The Garnett Airport was busy in the fall of 2023. Among other things, Airport Manager Pat Schettler says they were able to buy a tank of fuel when prices went down and have been selling quite a bit to transient aircraft coming in for the cheaper fuel.
Schettler is hoping to receive matching funds from KDOT so they can get the city’s portion of the project down to 5% or less.
