The search for an elderly Pomona man has ended in tragedy. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says that Sunday afternoon, January 28th. they requested the assistance of the Pottawatomie Township Volunteer Fire Department to search an area they believed 86-year-old Donald Willford could be located. During that search, Mr. Willford was unfortunately found deceased.
The sheriff’s department thanks the public for the outpouring of assistance in the attempt to locate Mr. Willford.
