Jackson County Prosecutor, Jean Peters Baker announced second-degree murder charges against two people yesterday, February 20th, in connection to last Wednesday’s deadly shooting at the Chief’s Victory Rally outside of Union Station. Dominic Miller of Kansas City, Missouri, and Lyndell Mays of Raytown, each face second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon charges. Peters Baker describes what happened:

Both men were injured in the shooting and remain in a Kansas City hospital under heavy guard and are being held on a one million dollar bond. The two juveniles arrested in the case are being handled by another office. She would not say if they were shooters in the incident, although they have been charged with gun possession charges.
