A discussion of increasing trash pickup rates for residents of Wellsville got a little spirited during the regular Wellsville City Council Meeting. Shawn Anderson of Ottawa Sanitation was discussing new rates and cautioned about price changes if the council wanted to solicit bids from other companies:
Anderson says he didn’t mean to apply pressure to the Council not to go out for bids. The Council decided to do just that. The current contract with Ottawa Sanitation expires July first.
