A robbery that took place in rural Williamsburg Saturday, March 16th, had the homeowner fearing for his life, but, he took action! An 81-year-old Williamsburg man reported that two men burglarized his home, while he was there. The two men entered the home in the 1400 block of Colorado Road, in Williamsburg. The victim got into a physical struggle with one of the suspects and was battered. However, at one point, according to scanner traffic, the man was holding the suspects at gunpoint in his basement. At some point the suspects fled the residence with several items. The monetary value of those items is unknown at this time. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office says the case is under investigation.
