In 2023, U. S. consumers reported losing more than $10 billion to fraud, which was an increase of 14% over 2022. It happens everyday with romance schemes, skimming, charities and targeting the elderly. On Thursday, March 28th at 6:30 at the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium, Kansas State Bank, in conjunction with the City of Ottawa, Franklin County Development Council, the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce and KOFO, will hold a seminar called Combatting Fraud.
