The annual Health Occupations Students of Kansas competition was held yesterday, March 28th, at Kansas State University in Manhattan. Known as HOSA, the competition is designed to motivate HOSA members and provide a system for recognizing the competencies developed by members through health science and biomedical science class instruction, related job training, and HOSA related activities.
Two teams of Ottawa High Students were selected among the top 14 displays, and move to the final round of judging. Morgan Spickler and Addie Chenault for their knowledge and presentation on ObGyn. Also, Natalia Engelby and Kenlye Carlson made the cut for the display and presentation on nuclear pharmacist. The final round of judging will be this morning, March 29th. Good luck to both teams.
