It’s been a couple days since the Franklin County Sheriff’s office was involved in a chase that saw a suspect shoot at the pursuing deputy. Law enforcement everywhere are to be commended for the courage and bravery they show in the face of danger. At the Franklin County Commission Meeting, County Administrator, Derek Brown, thanks Sheriff Jeff Richards and his staff:
Two men from Cedar Rapids, Iowa were arrested and charged with various drug offenses, fleeing and eluding and other charges related to the shooting. Fifty five-year-old Frank Rinderknecht will make an appearance in Franklin County District Court tomorrow afternoon, April 25th, at 3:00. The man accused of shooting at deputies will make and appearance Monday afternoon, April 29th at 2:00.
