Kansas Governor Lara Kelly brought her push for Medicaid expansion to Wichita Tuesday, April 23rd. The Governor visited the Kansas Health Foundation, who hosted her, for a Town Hall Discussion on accessible health care coverage and ways of reducing the rate of uninsured Kansans:
The Legislature reconvened today, April 25th and the Senate is expected to vote on a motion that, if passed, would allow for a debate and a vote on the bill for Medicaid expansion. Kelly will be in Emporia today with local leaders to visit small businesses as part of her “Healthy Workers, Healthy Economy” tour.
