County fire crews were busy late last week. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department , along with firefighters, were called to 2729 John Brown Road near Princeton for a fire. Eighty four-year-old Fred Potter, of Princeton called 911 to report that his shed was on fire. Potter says his riding lawn mower had over heated and when he put it in the shed, it caught fire. The fire spread to the building and caught another lawnmower on fire also. Fire crews extinguished the flames. The loss is estimated at $3,500.
