If you have called Ottawa City Hall, how have you been treated? That seemed to be one question on the mind of City Commissioner Zach Clayton. At the end of the regular meeting, Clayton had a request:
City Manager Brian Silcott emphasized that if city employees are on an extended call after they have already given the vital information, then the employee needs to be allowed to move on to other business. Silcott however, did not dispute the need to be cordial im public dealings.
In other business, Silcott said the city is trying to figure out when and how to open the rest rooms at Legacy Square. They are closed most of the time since they were vandalized and drug paraphernalia was left in the bathrooms.
