This year’s edition of the Garnett Grand Prix Revival was one of the biggest ever, when it came to registration, and setting a record for the number of new participants. Board member Bo Harris reports that the 10th annual event had 100 first timers participating in various classes, with 262 total registrations for the three day event. He says they are right back at the drawing board, checking out options for next year, and at the same time looking for grant opportunities and donations to make improvements to the track.

As the event donates proceeds from the Grand Prix to charity every year, this year the organization was able to present a check to the WINGS cancer support group for $2,500.

Don’t forget, the Garnett Community Foundation has secured a matching grant that will double donations for all business and individual contributions made to the Track Improvement Fund by the end of November 2023. If you would like to donate, you can do so online at ”garnettcommunityfoundation.org.”
