Proximity Park is still waiting for a client to build in the new industrial area south of Ottawa. Franklin County Development Council Director Paul Bean says that 29 inquiries came to him in 2023. He says three of those are still active. He gives some reasons why he would not follow up on a potential client:
He adds that he is confident a company that will be supplying the Panasonic Plant in DeSoto or the micro chip plant in Burlington will build in Proximity Park. Right now, it’s just a waiting game.
