Yesterday, January 17th, Governor Kelly, for the fifth time in her tenure, introduced her Medicaid expansion proposal to both Chambers of the Kansas Legislature, and called for hearings on the Bill by Kansas Day, January 29th. She explains who would benefit from Medicaid expansion:
She added that the “Cutting Healthcare Costs for All Kansans Act” will also provide coverage for 150,000 Kansans, protect rural hospitals and cost taxpayers nothing extra. Kelly says it is supported by both Democrats and Republicans.
