Workplace safety inspectors with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, known as OSHA, have found roofing contractor, Triple A Built LLC out of Wellsville, putting its employees at risk of falls from elevation by not providing required protective equipment at two residential worksites in October 2023. The company is not a National Roofing Contractors Association member. OSHA compliance officers opened inspections after observing three employees of Triple A Built in Peculiar, Missouri and Blue Springs, Missouri, doing framing work without required fall and eye protection.

OSHA inspectors cited the company for six instance-by-instance repeat violations for lack of fall protection and two repeat violations for not providing workers using powered nail guns with eye and face protection. OSHA has proposed $233,210 in penalties. Triple A Built, LLC received citations for similar violations in 2021.

Falls are the leading cause of death in the construction industry.
