There appears to be a little tension between Ottawa city staff and the City Commission on how fast to move on building a new city swimming pool. After hearing that studies on a new pool might take place later this decade, Commissioners Zach Clayton and Mayor Mike Skidmore seemed to want things to speed up:
The ever declining condition of the existing swimming pool has been a concern for some time, and has spurred interest in getting a new one built sooner rather than later.
